You don’t necessarily start from Essaouira. Your surf trip might end in Taghazout, you may be leaving Imsouane after a week in the water, or you could be in Sidi Kaouki with two surfboards and three bags.

Grand taxi or private transfer, what's the honest answer?
Solo traveler, no flight to catch, flexible on timing, the grand taxi rank on Avenue Deuxième Mars is an option. Traveling with family, luggage, or a departure time that matters, the wait alone costs more than the price difference. Grand taxis leave when six seats fill. That’s 15 minutes or 90, nobody knows. A Vito at €110 for four people is €27 per head, door to door, confirmed.
Will my surfboard fit?
4*4 : two boards, compact gear. Vito: mid-length boards plus luggage for six. Sprinter: full quiver, wetsuits, group gear, no discussion. Specify board count at booking. One line in your WhatsApp message covers it.
How does pickup work from inside the medina?
The evening before departure, your driver sends the exact meeting point, the closest accessible Bab to your riad. You walk to the gate with your bags. Driver is there. Luggage goes in. That’s the whole process.
